I. Introduction of explosion-proof oil pump products:
Explosion-proof oil pump is the latest pump products developed according to the relevant technical data at home and abroad after digestion, absorption and improvement. The self-priming pump is suitable for the oil industry, land oil depot, the ideal product of oil tanker, and suitable for Marine cargo oil pump, bilge pump, fire pump and ballast pump and machine cooling water circulation, etc.
Conveying gasoline, kerosene, diesel, jet fuel and other petroleum products and sea water, water, medium temperature -20℃-80℃, such as conveying chemical liquids can be used to corrosion resistant mechanical seal.
 
Two, explosion-proof oil pump product characteristics:
1, the self-priming pump is a self-priming pump, it has the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation, smooth operation, easy maintenance, high efficiency, long life, has a strong self-priming capacity.
There is no need for bottom valve in the pipeline, and only need to ensure that there is quantitative oil in the pump body before work.
When used on oil tankers or water delivery ships, it can also be used as a tank sweeping pump with good tank sweeping effect.
2, the pump is made of high quality materials, seal using hard alloy mechanical seal, durable, out of the pipeline does not need to install the safety valve, suction pipeline does not need to install the bottom valve, thus simplifying the pipeline system, and improve the working conditions.
 
Three, explosion-proof oil transmission pump working principle:
The explosion-proof oil transfer pump adopts the pump body structure of axial return liquid.
The pump body is composed of suction chamber, liquid storage chamber, scroll chamber, liquid return hole, gas-liquid separation chamber, etc. After the normal start of the pump, the impeller will suck the liquid stored in the suction chamber and the air in the suction pipeline together, and can be completely mixed in the impeller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid entrainment and gas flow to the outer edge of the scroll.
A white foam belt with a certain thickness and a high-speed rotating liquid ring are formed on the outer edge of the impeller.
The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through a diffusion tube.
At this point, due to the sudden decrease in the flow rate, the lighter gas is separated from the mixture of gas and liquid, and the gas continues to rise and discharge through the pump body outlet.
The liquid after degassing returns to the liquid storage chamber, and enters the impeller again through the return hole, and mixes with the gas sucked from the suction pipeline inside the wheel again, and flows out of the impeller under the action of the high-speed rotating impeller.
As this process goes on again and again, the air in the suction tube is constantly reduced, until all the gas is absorbed, the self-priming process is completed, and the pump is put into normal operation.
Because the pump has this unique exhaust capacity, so the pump can transport the liquid containing gas, without the need to install a bottom valve, when used on oil tankers with a good sweep function.
The bottom of the bearing body of some pumps is also provided with a cooling chamber.
When the bearing fever causes the bearing temperature to rise more than 70 degrees, it can be cooled by injecting coolant into the cooling chamber through any coolant pipe joint.
Pump internal to prevent liquid leakage from the high pressure area to the low pressure area of the sealing mechanism is the front and rear sealing ring, the sealing ring is installed on the pump body, after the sealing ring is installed on the bearing body, when the pump after long-term operation of the sealing ring wear to a certain extent, and affect the efficiency of the pump and self-priming performance, should be replaced.
 
IV. Installation Instructions for Explosion-proof Oil Transfer Pump:
1. When the oil pump is directly connected with the motor, attention should be paid to the coaxiality of the output of the pump shaft and the motor;
The accuracy of the pump installation has a great impact on the operation stability and service life of the pump, so it must be carefully installed and calibrated.
2, the pump coupling must be fastened with nuts, and lock the nuts, beware of nut loosening, otherwise easy to cause impeller channeling, resulting in mechanical failure.
3, in order to make the pump body can maintain a certain amount of storage liquid, in order to achieve better self-priming capacity and prevent the mechanical seal dry friction, must make the pump inlet higher than the center line of the pump shaft.
4. Attention should be paid to the installation of suction pipeline:
A.
The installation height of suction population should not exceed 5 meters as far as possible. When conditions permit, the installation height of suction population should be lower than the lowest oil storage level of the oil depot as far as possible, and the length of suction pipe should be shortened as far as possible, with less elbow installed, which is conducive to shortening the self-suction time and improving the function of tank sweeping.
B.
The valve and flange in the suction pipeline should be strictly prevented from air leakage or leakage of liquid, that is, the suction pipeline is not allowed to have air leakage phenomenon.
C.
Should prevent the pump body suction solids and other sundries, so the suction pipe should be set up on the filter.
The effective flow area of the filter should be 2-3 times of the section of the suction pipe, and the filter should be checked regularly.
D.
The suction pipeline and the discharge pipeline should have their own support, the pump body itself is not allowed to bear the load of the pipeline.
5. During the installation of the oil pump, the electrostatic grounding resistance of the pump and the pipeline should meet the specified requirements.
6. When installing, we should strictly check whether there are stones, iron sand and other sundries in the pump shell and pipeline.
7. Correct the installation clearance and coaxiality of pump coupling and electric motor coupling, and the allowable deviation of different coaxiality is 0.1 mm.
The height difference between the pump shaft and the motor shaft can be adjusted with copper or iron on the bottom foot.
8. After the actual operation of the unit for 3-4 hours, make the final inspection, if there is no adverse phenomenon, it is considered that the installation has been properly, and the temperature of the bearing should be checked during the test run. The temperature of the bearing body should not exceed 70 degrees.
9. The pump bearing body is provided with cooling water joint of cooling chamber device for the use of rubber pipe or plastic pipe with inner hole of moving 12, and the thread size is M12 ×175.
1, in the pump outlet line such as equipped with a one-way valve and in the process of self-priming can not make the pump smoothly discharge gas, should be connected to the outlet of the pump exhaust tube and valve.

V. Disassembly and maintenance of explosion-proof oil transfer pump:
The pump is characterized by simple and reliable structure and durability.
In the normal circumstances of the pump, generally do not need to often open maintenance.
When the fault is found, it can be removed at any time.
1.
Attention should be paid to several main parts when maintaining the pump.
A.
Rolling bearing: when the oil pump runs for a long time and the bearing is worn to a certain extent, it must be replaced.
B.
Front seal ring, rear seal ring: when the seal ring wear to a certain extent, must be replaced.
C.
Mechanical seal: mechanical seal in the case of no oil leakage, generally should not be dismantled for inspection.
If there is serious leakage at the lower end of the bearing body, the mechanical seal shall be dismantled and inspected.
When assembling and disassembling the mechanical seal, it must be gently removed, pay attention to the cleaning of the matching surface, protect the mirror of the static ring and the moving ring, and it is strictly prohibited to knock and collision.
The main reason for the leakage of the mechanical seal is the rubbing of the mirror.
The repair method can be used to grind the friction face to restore the mirror.
Another reason for the leakage of mechanical seals is that the "O" rubber sealing ring (or cushion) is improperly installed, or due to deformation and aging.
At this time, it is necessary to adjust or replace the "O" sealing ring for reassembly.
2.
Disassembly sequence of oil pump:
A.
Remove the motor or pull out the coupling.
B.
Remove the bearing body, check the radial clearance between the impeller and the front mouth ring, and check whether the impeller nut is loose.
C.
Remove the impeller nut, pull out the impeller, and check the radial clearance between the impeller and the rear sealing ring.
D.
Loosen the setting screw of the mechanical seal, pull out the moving ring part of the mechanical seal, check the fitting of the end faces of the moving and static rings, and check the "O" sealing ring (or slow)

E.
Unscrew the setting nut of the coupling and pull out the coupling.
F.
Remove bearing end cover, remove pump shaft and bearing.
G.
Install in reverse order.
