Gear pumps come in many forms.
This section briefly lists some typical constructions that are widely used.
Figure L-2 shows the KCB gear oil pump.
The driving gear 4 and driven gear 3 are mounted in the pump housing and supported by four needle roller bearings 2.
Its pump form is composed of three parts: pump body 5, front cover 6 and back cover L.
On the back cover, corresponding to the position of the suction chamber and the drain chamber of the pump, a suction port and a drain port are opened.
The pump has the following characteristics in the structure:
Its axial clearance is determined by the thickness tolerance between the gear and the pump body, and it can deliver liquid stably.
