Oil pump has the advantages of simple structure, reliable use, long life and low price. It is widely used in the hydraulic system of machine tools, automobiles, ships, aircraft and other mechanical products.

The slag oil pump is a new type of oil pump, which is composed of a pair of involute arc gear, transmission shaft, pump body and end cover with the same geometrical parameters.

Because arc gear transmission has the advantages of good meshing performance, large overlap coefficient, low noise, strong bearing capacity, no axial component force and long service life, it has obvious advantages to construct oil pumps with it.

In this paper, the meshing characteristics of spiral gear pair are analyzed, the geometric parameters and the correct meshing conditions are determined, and the meshing profile equation, meshing line equation, tooth surface equation and the calculation formula of coincidence degree are derived.

According to the analysis, the tooth surfaces of a pair of spiral gears can realize linear contact to seal oil. Therefore, the spiral gears can be used to construct oil pumps and ensure the normal operation of pumps.
