Optimization Design of ZYB Slag Pump Gear Shaft

Because of the need of the structure of the gear shaft, the design of a semicircular positioning keyway on the cone, and mount to the requirements of assembly must have steps, rounded corners.
The abrupt change of the cross section will produce stress concentration. The oil pump is closely related to the geometry of the parts, such as the change of the cross section and the sharpness of the notch.
For the parts bearing alternating loads, the influence of stress concentration is particularly important. Therefore, the stress concentration should be reduced as much as possible to improve the anti-fatigue strength of ZYB slag pump gear shaft, which requires the design of a more reasonable optimization of the structure.
In order to ensure the strength of the stress concentration part, it is not appropriate to simply increase the surface size of the part. We should mainly try to improve its local condition to reduce the stress concentration factor.
For the slag pump gear shaft, measures can be taken: effective proof, Bosch gear shaft semicircular keyway at the bottom of the fillet transition R= 0.6mm;
And our company's original fillet transition only R--O. 2mEn, some due to processing reasons, or even no fillet transition at all, a sharp state.
The comparison between the fillet corners of the keyway parts produced by our company and those produced by Bosch Company is shown in Figure 5-1,5-2.
Because the Bosch gear shaft's large fillet transition greatly reduces the stress concentration, fracture is virtually never experienced here.
The junction of the gear shaft cone cylinder should be as smooth as possible.
