If the centrifugal pump is selected, the following items can be further considered:

According to the characteristics of the medium to decide which gear pump to choose, such as clean water pump, corrosion resistant pump, or chemical process pump and impurity pump and so on.

When the medium is highly toxic, valuable or radioactive and other substances that are not allowed to leak, it should be considered to use a leakless pump (such as shield pump, magnetic pump) or a double-end mechanical seal with leakage fluid collection and leakage alarm device.

If the medium is volatile liquid such as liquefied hydrocarbon, low NPV pump should be selected, such as cylinder pump.

According to the site installation conditions, choose horizontal pump, vertical pump (including liquid pump, pipeline pump).

According to the flow size of the single suction pump, double suction pump, or small flow centrifugal pump.

According to the height of the head selection of single-stage pump, multi-stage pump, or high-speed centrifugal pump.

After the above can be determined according to the characteristics of the different series of pumps and the conditions of the production plant, choose the appropriate pump series and the production plant.

Finally, according to the characteristics of the device and the process parameters of the pump, we decide which kind of manufacturing and inspection standards to choose.

If the requirements are higher, the API610 standard can be selected. When the requirements are general, GB5656(IS05199) or ANSI B73.1m standard can be selected.

If the selection of metering pump is determined, the following items can be further considered:

When the medium is flammable, explosive, highly toxic and valuable liquid, diaphragm metering pump is often used.

In order to prevent the rupture of the diaphragm, the mixture of medium and hydraulic oil causes an accident, the double diaphragm metering pump can be selected and the diaphragm rupture alarm device can be used.

The flow adjustment is generally manual. If you need automatic adjustment, you can choose electric or pneumatic adjustment mode.
