Wear-resistant slag pump centralizer was developed in Huabei

In Well Ga117-5 of Huabei Oilfield, the self-developed wear-resistant slag pump torsion reducer and friction reducer has been used in normal production for more than 20 days, and the daily liquid output has increased from 28 cubic meters before the measure to 55 cubic meters.

Well Ga117-5 is a diversion well in the polymer flooding test area of Gao-Shallow Beiguan 12 sub-layer in Huabei Oilfield. In July 2015, the sand control pump with a diameter of 56 mm was used.

In order to improve the production of the well, in July this year, the well was replaced with a 800 type wear-resistant slag pump, which produced 28 cubic meters of fluid per day. After only 2 days of production, the pump efficiency could not produce liquid.

After analysis, the technicians believe that the well deviation of the high 117-5 well is large, which has reached the limit value of the wear-resistant slag pump to adapt to the well deviation.

On August 2, the technicians installed a set of wear-resistant slag oil pump torsion reducer and friction reducer at the positions of 350 meters and 450 meters of the driving rod column to reduce the friction between the driving rod and the oil pipe through the flexible connection mode, and greatly reduced the driving torque required by the driving rod in the production process.

The centralizer of wear-resistant slag oil pump is independently developed and designed by the Drilling and Production Technology Research Institute of Huabei Oilfield and is processed by Huabei Oilfield Machinery Company.

The first successful test of this tool in Well Gao 117-5 indicates that the application range of wear-resistant slag pump technology in Huabei Oilfield is further expanded, which is beneficial to prolong the pump inspection cycle.
