Development of RY hot oil pump

In recent years, China's iron and steel industry to increase the research and development of hot oil pump steel.

At present, there are nearly 40 iron and steel enterprises in China, such as Baosteel, Xiangsteel, Baotou Steel and Shougang, producing cold heading steel, and some kinds of steel have approached or reached the advanced level of foreign countries.

Product varieties include low carbon, ultra-low carbon, medium carbon (quenching and tempering), low alloy steel and surface carburizing hardening steel several categories, specifications of 5.5mm~42mm, almost covering all the demand for oil pump steel.

Although the development of cold heading steel wire and rod started late in China, it has developed rapidly. Especially since the mid-1980s, the high-speed wire and rod continuous rolling production lines have been put into production one after another, which provides the guarantee of equipment for the production of cold heading steel wire and rod.

 

The steel used in the oil pump manufacturing industry is mainly cold heading steel wire. The grades are 22A, 35K, etc., and the specifications range from 6.5mm to 20mm. This kind of cold heading steel wire is mainly used in the manufacture of bolts, nuts, rivets, bolts, etc.

Because the working temperature of the oil pump is different, the materials used are also different.

The working temperature is below 370℃, the medium carbon steel is generally selected after tempering and tempering.

More than 370℃, heat resistant steel;

Below 480℃, chromium molybdenum low alloy pearlite heat resistant steel;

Below 540℃, chromium molybdenum vanadium low alloy pearlite heat resistant steel is used;

Below 570℃, high chromium martensitic heat resistant steel is selected, but the linear expansion coefficient of this steel is small, and the preloading force in the cold state should not be too large, in case of overload and yield of the oil pump when the working temperature is reached.

 

The state attaches great importance to the research and development of oil pumps in some industries. On November 12, 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Notice on the Special Work of Industrial Revitalization and Technical Transformation in 2013, which listed 7 projects such as automobile engine oil pumps as special technical transformation projects in 2013.

Including high-speed train gear transmission, energy saving and environmental protection automatic transmission and key parts, Marine large gear transmission, automobile engine and automatic transmission chain, automobile engine oil pump, automobile suspension spring, automobile high strength powder metallurgy parts, etc.

 

Industry insiders believe that, benefiting from the rapid development of automobile, wind power, construction, manufacturing, high-end equipment, new energy and other industries, in the medium and long term, China's oil pump demand will continue to be in the stage of rapid growth.

According to rough statistics, there are more than 40,000 varieties and millions of various forms of oil pumps at home and abroad, which are mainly used in the automobile industry, machinery manufacturing industry, electronics industry, construction and maintenance industry and so on.

Among them, the automobile industry is the largest user, its demand accounted for about 23.2% of the total sales of oil pumps;

The second is the maintenance industry market and the construction industry, whose demand accounts for about 20% of the total sales of oil pumps.

The third is the electronics industry, which accounts for about 16.6 percent of the total oil pump sales.

Industry insiders predict that in 2013 and even the whole "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the potential market for oil pump premium special steel is large.

It is expected that in 2013, China's oil pump production and sales will reach 7.2 million tons ~ 7.5 million tons;

By 2015, the market size of China's oil pump industry will be close to 200 billion yuan.

Therefore, the demand for special steel used in oil pump production will continue to show an upward trend.
