With the rapid development of the national economy, the application of hydraulic transmission is more and more widely, and has become an important symbol to measure the level of industrialization of a country or a department.

The oil pump has been widely used because of its simple structure, small volume, light weight, easy operation and maintenance, strong self-priming ability and insensitivity to oil pollution.

The main disadvantages of the gear train are the unbalanced radial fluid pressure, large flow pulsation and high noise.

In addition, its displacement is not adjustable, the scope of use is subject to certain restrictions.

Based on the analysis of the research status and actual use status of oil pump, the structural principle of balanced compound oil pump (hereinafter referred to as compound gear train) is proposed on the basis of the combination of planetary transmission theory and the working principle of gear pump.

Theoretical analysis and experimental study show that the system has a series of advantages such as radial fluid pressure balance, large flow rate, good flow uniformity, variable and so on. It can replace the common gear and be widely used in the hydraulic system.

Because of the balance of radial fluid pressure on the main components of the assembly, the co-clearance between the tooth tip circle and the fruit body of each gear can be controlled very small, which creates conditions for the high-pressure of the system.

This book is compiled according to the author's teaching and scientific research practice for many years.

The main contents were completed under the guidance of Professor An Qian and Professor Wang Zhongzheng, the doctoral supervisor, when the author was studying for his doctoral degree in China University of Technology (Beijing Campus), and some of the papers were published in various academic journals.
